Selected concept work / 01—02

Built around
the right idea.

Two fictional briefs that show how a clear direction can take shape across an identity and its applications.

01 / MARROW OBJECTSIdentity concept

Everyday objects.
A thoughtful point of view.

An earthy visual language for a fictional independent ceramics brand.

Inside the concept brief

The brief: give a small ceramics collection a consistent introduction across its packaging and website.

The direction: warm type, clay tones and spacious layouts. Deliverable examples: wordmark direction, colour palette, packaging study and homepage concept.

The boundary: self-initiated demonstration. No client relationship, sales result or performance claim is represented.

02 / NORTHLINEIdentity + web concept

A shared direction.
A little room to wander.

A direct, energetic starting point for a fictional local walking club.

Inside the concept brief

The brief: make the club’s purpose and first-visit information easy for a new member to understand.

The direction: a bold type system, directional motif and clear content hierarchy. Deliverable examples: identity study, event graphic and service-page structure.

The boundary: a fictional concept, not an operating club or a completed commercial project.

A clear way of working

Good work needs
a shared direction.

Defined stages, useful feedback and decisions recorded along the way.

01 / ALIGN

Get the brief straight.

Understand the audience, constraints and desired outcome. Agree scope, responsibilities and the decision maker.

02 / MAKE

Make it tangible.

Present a direction with a reason behind it. Gather consolidated feedback and refine within the agreed rounds.

03 / HAND OVER

Leave things usable.

Check the agreed deliverables, package the files and walk through what you need to manage next.

A good fit

Independent ideas.
Shared commitment.

We work best with a clear decision maker, time for considered feedback, and a business ready to contribute its story and content.

If your project needs ongoing content management, complex software or a specialist integration, we discuss that before agreeing the scope.

What does a project cost?

The fee depends on the brief and deliverables. Share your goals, budget range and timing; the written proposal confirms what is included and any optional work.

Can you work with my existing brand?

Yes, a website project can begin with an existing identity. Share the files and any usage guidelines so we can review what is available.

Who writes the website content?

Content responsibilities are agreed before work begins. If you need writing or photography, mention it in your brief so it can be scoped separately.

How do feedback and revisions work?

We agree milestones, feedback deadlines and included rounds in the proposal. One consolidated response per round keeps decisions clear.

What happens after the handover?

The proposal defines the handover files and any post-launch support. Hosting, updates, content changes and maintenance are separate unless explicitly included.
